Research log 3

    I found more information and articles about my research topic this week. I wrote some evaluation for most of them. I think I have enough information and articles now but I don’t know how to arrange them to my assignment. I also found some visual elements to support my argument, but I don’t think it is very relevant to my topic. I need to find some other visual elements. I have presented my topic to my friends, they think it’s very popular topic but it’s difficult to stay at one side to argue. So, I feel uncertain about this assignment and I may go to take different position to evaluate both advantages and disadvantages of video games but mainly evaluate the bad side of video game addiction. I found that an essay of 2500 words is a little difficult for me. I think I need to go to writing center and get some advice.

I changed my research topic: the impact of video games contains the video game addiction. 
I think technology is a very large area, so I changed my topic to video games. I think that's a very hot topic and I can find a lot of information on the website, news, and books. I found many articles about video games. They are mainly about the impact of video games and the definition of video game addiction.
According to the work that I have done, I think that I can argue about that for 8-10 pages and  I may take different position to evaluate both advantages and disadvantages of video games but mainly evaluate the bad side of video game addiction. Because I found that there are too many serious problems of video game such as social isolating, confusing of fantasy or reality and even people’s health. I also found some study, statistics and experiment to show the impact of the video games. These research can be very powerful proof to prove my argument.
I need to think about how to allocate these information and write more my opinion about this topic.

I have decided my topic: If technology development is totally good for people?

Nowadays, technology is around us everywhere. I thought about this topic long time ago. When I went to a party with my friends, there was a moment that everyone just looks at their cellphone for going on internet, playing game or sending messages. Then, I start to think about this topic. Because of technology develop a lot; people may think that people are convenient to talk with each other. But people become not talk face to face. So, if it is really closer the relationship between people.

I don’t know if I can argue about that for 8-10 pages so I may take different position to evaluate both advantages and disadvantages of technology. I can easy to found resource on the internet such as the background of apple stores or Facebook and other chat. But I think I need to make my topic to be specific. Because technology have very large area and I need to choose one products or one tools to evaluate.

That’s a hot topic that many people may have talked about that. I need to conclude other’s ideas and figure out something to make the main idea be new.
